Doggy style

According to Dr Ashutosh Malhotra, a sexologist, men prefer positions which enable them to have a better view of sexual penetration.

In this position, the woman generally gets on all fours while the man is on his knees, penetrating her from behind.

Woman on top

"This is one interesting position which both men and women enjoy. Men prefer this position because it is visually pleasing and ideal for touching while having sex," says Dr Malhotra.

Here the woman lies or sits on top of the man. The man raises his hips in order to penetrate her.

Missionary position

Here, the woman raises her legs and places them on the man's shoulders. "Men enjoy this because they get a clear view of the woman during penetration," says Dr Rakesh Goswami, a sexologist.

Missionary with a twist

According to Dr Goswami, this position gives men total control over women. You have to lie on your back at the edge of the bed.

The man lies on top of you with one leg on the bed and the other on the floor. This allows him deeper penetration.

Reverse cow girl

Here, the woman sits astride the man and faces his feet, straddling him backwards. You can hold his knees for support while he is entering you.

"Men like this position since they get a great view of the woman's buttocks," says Dr Goswami.
