Real Love, Sex and Dhokha stories
Dibakar Banerjee's Love Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD) is raising eyebrows everywhere.
The movie is reported to have some of the boldest sex scenes we've seen in Hindi movies till date, and it also deals with such titillating topics like voyeurism and MMS scandals. So we couldn't help but wonder what defines 'bold' in today's language.
Steamy secrets revealed!
Let's face it, we live in a highly sexualized world, where the term 'virginity' seems as archaic as Sanskrit. So, to figure out just how 'forward' a society we exist in, we asked 200 men and women, across ages and occupations, some very steamy questions.
And we got the most honest and non-confined answers! Here are some of the most interesting ones:
Have you taken naughty pictures of yourself and sent it to your partner, just for fun?
"Yeah, I have. I've done it quiet a few times, in fact. Because of our jobs, my partner and I are always travelling, so we see each other just twice a month. So I love sending him naughty pictures of me to keep the lust factor strong." -Candice, 27, marketing executive
"I have naughty pictures of myself all over Facebook! Jokes aside, I haven't done that till date, although my girlfriend does send me naughty pictures of her once in a while, they're in a secret folder." - Kishan, 24, tennis coach
Do you check other people's Twitter/ Facebook (FB) feeds regarding their relationship status or what they did with their partners over the weekend?
"Well sometimes, especially if I know the person well. But I do that only when I have a lot of time to spare. Anyway, I don't think people would put up such details if they didn't want others to know what they were up to." - Shivani, 20, student
"I couldn't be bothered about what who did with whom over the weekend, unless my friend hooked up with some really hot girl. I guess I'd only be interested in those details." -Hemal A, 23, sports writer
Would you watch explicit MMS or video clips of a celeb, such as those starring Paris Hilton or Riya Sen?
"Unless someone had it on their phone or laptop, I wouldn't watch it. I'd only watch it if someone made me see it, I would never take the trouble to download it." -Aneesha, 27, stylist
"I'm more of a Pamela Anderson kind of guy, so unless the celebrity is hot I wouldn't bother. Yeah, I have watched the Paris clip but not the Riya one and somehow I prefer porn to explicit celebrity clips." -Sameer, 34, artist
Will you be interested in your friend's intimate details?
"My girlfriends and I always talk about our sex lives. I know everything about what they do and we exchange tips and stuff. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's like sharing sex tips that you read in magazines like Cosmopolitan with your female friends." -Alexis, 19, model
"No way! It's not a guy thing. I know girls gossip about what they do with their boyfriends/husbands, but it's not the same with guys. I don't want to know any bedroom stuff about my friend and his girlfriend." -Brandon, 25, assistant director
What will you do with graphic photos/ videos after you break up with your partner?
"I know it may sound really mean, but my ex and I were dating for three years, then she cheated on me with another guy. So all those sex videos I had of us, I sent them to the guy. Let's say that there was drama after that since she was two-timing us. I did edit certain parts though." - Sandeep K, 28, stage actor
"I made my ex-boyfriend delete all the pictures of me after we broke up because I didn't want them to fall in the wrong hands. Who knows what people do after a break-up. I went to his house and demanded he delete the pictures in front of me. All the pictures I had, I deleted them once I was over him." -Garima, 23, publicist
Have you lost a phone which had intimate pictures of you and your partner?
"Yes, I did! I was very scared because there were so many pictures. My phone did have a lock code though and I didn't get it back, so I guess my battery died and whoever had my phone couldn't unlock it." -Joanna Q, 30, marketing manager
