Oscar-winning looks
Let the nominations begin…
The eternal fashionista of B-Town

Rekha, in her sixties, and still so stylish! Recently, spotted in an elegant black velvet sari for the Holi party hosted by the Ambanis, this look created quite a furor. Since, Kanjeevaram silk saris, a big red bindi and loads of gold jewellery is Rekha's trademark look, this diva in black appearance proved to be an eye-opening and refreshing change.
Rekha is truly eternally stylish and we can't get enough of her!
Sexy in white

That's jewellery designer and socialite Queenie Singh for you. Glamorous Queenie is in her forties and proudly flaunts a sexy bode in a Monisha Jaisingh cut-out gown.
The Oscar for Fashionable at Forty definitely goes to Queenie!
Making a statement

How can you read (or write) a style story and not mention Katrina Kaif. When she is not charming us with her smile, she creates waves with her style sense.
Take this flaming orange gown for instance. Who else can carry off a gown like that with such élan? The accessorising is perfect and so is the minimal make up.
The ever-evolving diva

Kangana Ranaut never fails to surprise. Her style sense has evolved and how! This is Kangana from IIFA 2007, in a look very similar to Jennifer Lopez's Versace dress from the Grammys 2000.
Well, such a 'revealing' and not exactly classy dress will definitely get the attention that a new celebrity seeks and she will instantly grab eye-balls. But Kangana carries it off with élan and just for that she deserves an Oscar.
Sophisticated and regal

We miss her movies and red carpet looks! But, then she has created so many statements that it's difficult to not feel her absence. The bubbly Priety looked lovely at the Filmfare Awards 2009 in an off-shoulder mermaid gown.
This is the kind of style status that Bollywood newbies should look upto and eventually learn to dress like.
Ambassador of red carpet saris

And the Oscar goes to Kareena Kapoor. She has dedicated her red carpet look for Filmfare Awards to Manish Malhotra saris. We are not complaining because she looks fabulous every time she wears a MM sari. If ever she goes for the Oscars (and let's hope that happens soon enough) maybe she should wear a Malhotra sari and grab an award.
Perhaps, it's mere coincidence but every time she wore a Malhotra sari she has won an award at the Filmfare? Who else do you think deserves an Oscar in the style category? Leave us a comment and let us know.
