Don't discuss sex with them

There are certain people in your life who really don't need the gory, graphic or even mundane details of your sex life. Why, because it would make some extremely uncomfortable, and others fodder for gossip that could come back and bite you where it hurts!
Don't tell them the juicy - or for that matter, any - details:

Parents

Your parents would like to carry on pretending that you are not doing the dirty. So you really should spare them the agony of realising that you are indeed having sex. An abnormally active sex life will also make them worry about health issues.

Relatives

Your aunts and cousins, like your parents, would love to believe that your life is non-sexual and 'clean'. In addition to this, your parents will automatically know once your relatives find out. And if your aunt/cousin has the propensity to gossip, your parents could also have to bear with the pain of their daughter being talked about by 'society'.

Boss or colleagues

Your boss is not interested in your sex life (we hope!), and your workplace is a venue for gossip that's usually malicious. For the sake of your reputation and prospects, you would be better off not disclosing the details of your sex life to your boss or colleagues.

Young children

However liberated you may be, discussing your sex life with your children is not a good idea. Chances are you will have to do a lot of explaining that can be left until they are older and more mature.

Domestic help

They have a better network than most journalists and the news will spread like wildfire. The moment your maid gets to know about your sex life, you can rest assured that the whole neighbourhood will be informed promptly. Do you really want Mrs Sharma on the eight floor to know that you like to be tied up in bed?

Sex is for you and your partner to enjoy. Unless you get a kick out of other people knowing how sex you are having, when, when or how, keep the fun to yourself.
