Would you wear sari, the Liz Hurley way?

Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar
I'm sure that if there were a council for Making the Sari Popular in the West, they'd have hired Liz Hurley already!
After all, there's nothing more publicity generating than a celeb in a see-through sari!
When Liz Hurley stepped out (on husband Arun Nayar's arm) in a sexy grey-black sari gown in London last week, she chose to go choli-less (and braless). What she and her stylist didn't realise (accidently on purpose?) was that the photographers' flashbulbs would make her pallu go totally transparent!
But rather than bash her for her sartorial slip-up, certain fashion commentators are wondering if it's a new sari-wearing trend! After all, they're quick to point out, women in ancient India went choli-less (but covered their modesty very appropriately!) too!
What do you think? Is Liz Hurley making the sari sans the blouse a new fashion statement or is she merely looking for some publicity? Leave us comment and let us know!
