She turns all coy and later vehemently denies any striking resemblance between Katrina Kaif and her. "When I look into the mirror I see a girl who does not look similar to Katrina at all," states Zarine Khan.
"In fact, Katrina is so beautiful that you don't want to take your eyes off her for a minute. And she's such a lovely person. When I met her, she gave me some great tips and helped me out with my make up. If I were a man, I would marry Katrina!."
Gushing with gusto about Kaif's love interest Salman Khan also comes rather easily to the new find. "I've never seen him being short tempered," she avers. "He was very patient and never yelled at me. If I did not get a scene right, he would explain it in great detail and later show me how to do it. Salman Khan is a very genuine person."
Delving into flashback mode, Zarine unspools her maiden meeting with the Khan icon."I first met him on the sets of 'Yuvvraj'," she reveals, "I asked him for an autograph and while signing it, he told me, 'Sweetheart, now you will be signing autographs for the world.' That's when I came to know that I had been selected for 'Veer'."
But Fatrina (tag conferred by spicy tabloids) discloses that she was not allowed to speak about her bagging the role to anybody. "Even my family did not know that I had been finalised for 'Veer'."
